Ms. Rasika Surpali

One of the chief mentors and board member

Rasika Surpali is originally from Dharwad, Karnataka, and moved to the United States after her undergraduate studies. She is an Imaging Informatics Manager at Stanford Children’s, who believes that the healthcare challenges of our era, demand a systems approach, requiring the hybridization of ideas
between medicine and technology. She manages imaging operations in Pediatric Cardiology, leads process improvement initiatives, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to identify and develop imaging informatics solutions to improve patient care. Having spent nearly a decade in industry and
healthcare organizations, her varied experiences enable her to uniquely navigate complex customer-vendor relationships, understand organizational motivations, and make suitable recommendations to help achieve organizational goals. As a firm believer in educational equity, she enjoys developing science coursework content for middle school students in rural India and loves traveling. Rasika holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from
SDM College of Engineering and Technology, India, has a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Clemson University, USA and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Informatics Management from Stanford University, USA.
